We've all seen sports pictures where player is caught in perfect focus right before a juke, jump or jab. Seeing these on a regular basis gives a false impression of how difficult this shot is to pull off. After trying for about an hour and only getting back blurry images, I gave because of the cold. Next time I'll have to pack some sort of hand warming device and maybe a tripod to get the panning just right.
