My 30D has been aging relatively well the last few years. It's a little hefty, but feels solid. The shutter is loud, but has the sound of quality instrument. Nothing tinny or hollow here. However, these new batches of dSLRs have me green with envy because of one reason; HD recording. Although I'm just starting to get my photography legs, just knowing I have the ability to toy around with cinematography would be nice.
Note: Close followers will notice the break in pictures. Unfortunately my CF card whiffed on me and now I have to play catch for the pictures I lost. I guess it was bound to happen sooner or later and it's a good wake up call to import photos often.
