One of the reasons I like macro photography is because it's easier (for me at least) to create an interesting picture out of nothing. Manipulating the angle or light on an object is something that can be easily done whereas trying to find a unique angle against a landscape requires a helicopter. However, others have done it so there's no reason that I can't get better at it.
